25 April 2025 — TymeBank Langa Athletics Club regrets to announce the postponement of the upcoming Langa Run4Freedom, originally scheduled for Sunday, 27 April 2025 due to unforeseen logistical challenges.
“We are deeply disappointed about having to delay this much-anticipated community event,” said TymeBank Langa Athletics Club Chairman and Race Organiser, Molebatsi Matube. “Our team has worked hard behind the scenes, but unfortunately we cannot proceed responsibly.”
A new date will be announced soon. All registered participants will have their entries automatically transferred to the new date. Those unable to attend the rescheduled event can email info@langaathleticclub.co.za for a refund. Those who had bought race shirts can collect them from Sportsman’s Warehouse in Rondebosch on Saturday, 26 April from 10:00 to 17:00 or at Langa Stadium on Sunday, 27 April from 08:00 to 10:00.
