CAPE TOWN – Betway Premiership striker Iqraam Rayners and his fellow Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana teammate Bathusi Aubaas have joined the Puma South Africa football family.
Rayners, who currently wears the Puma Ultra 6 boot, has been in scorching form for the defending champions and has already netted six goals in the campaign so far.
The lightweight ultra is engineered for lightning-fast acceleration, while its innovative FastTrax stud configuration is designed to support sharp, explosive changes of direction – making it the perfect fit for a lethal finisher like Rayners.
Aubaas, a standout midfield talent, is part of the Bafana Bafana squad heading to the upcoming AFCON tournament in Morocco.
He has chosen to partner with Puma, noting that the collaboration allows him to align with a globally respected brand that holds significant influence in both high-performance sport and the broader cultural landscape.
“Signing two of the brightest stars who play for the most successful team in the PSL is a statement for the brand, and will drive visibility of our future and ultra football boots,” said Tshepo Mashishi, Puma SA Teamhead – Teamsports Marketing.
“Iqraam has scored goals at every level he has played, so he is a great addition to our global collection of attacking stars who play in ultra,” said Mashishi.
