Chery South Africa and the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series have decided to keep running side by side, renewing their successful partnership for an additional three years from 2026.
The extension also coincides with the fourth anniversary of Chery’s relaunch in South Africa, a milestone that mirrors the steady climb and endurance both brands have shown on the national sporting circuit.

The partnership spans five major city races – Gqeberha, Cape Town, Durban, Tshwane and Johannesburg – each one a unique leg in a nationwide relay that celebrates fitness, urban culture and elite performance.
Under the renewed agreement, innovation remains at the front of the pack. Just as runners chase personal bests, the partnership will continue introducing engaging elements designed to elevate the experience for runners, supporters, customers and dealers alike.
