CAPE TOWN – Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos is eyeing for the World Cup qualification as South African national gears for the South Sudan clash.
South Africa returns to Cape Town after a nine year absence when they host the East African country in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
But Broos, who already qualified for the Morocco tournament, says the bigger picture is the World Cup.
“My worry is now to qualify for the World Cup and we will see how we are going to do that in March, September and October,” said Broos.
“This is our goal now, except the game against South Sudan but after the game, the focus will be on qualifying for the World Cup.
“Because we want that and I think not only we, I think all South Africa wants South Africa again in the World Cup.
“So this is what we will try to do and this is what we will analyse in the next months.”
