CAPE TOWN – All set for the Spar Proteas ahead of the much anticipated 2023 Netball World Cup.
The prestigious event kicks off on the 28 July at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), Cape Town with 16 teams set to fight for one big prize.
South Africa has been placed in Pool C together with Jamaica, Wales and Sri Lanka.
The Proteas will kick off their campaign against the tough UK side, Wales.
Vice-captain Karla Pretorius believes the team is ready for the tournament and the mood in the camp has been positive.

“Training camp up to now has been going well, and we’ve been full on. We are working hard in sharpening up some skills,” said Pretorius.
“We are working hard in getting up to court and trying new combinations.
“The vibe within the team is good and the atmosphere is superb ahead of our first match. And we are counting on days before the big match.”
