While thousands of runners took part in the beloved event on Sunday, tragedy unfolded when an oak tree unexpectedly collapsed, fatally injuring the runner. Emergency personnel responded swiftly and transported her to hospital. Despite all medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries.
