CAPE TOWN – Golden Arrows have announced the return of Mandla Ncikazi as their new head coach, following the club’s decision to part ways with Pitso Dladla.
The Durban-based outfit confirmed the appointment this week, bringing back a familiar face to lead Abafana Bes’thende for the remainder of the Betyway Premiership season.
Ncikazi returns to a club where he previously enjoyed a successful spell in the 2020/21 Premier Soccer League (PSL) campaign.
The experienced coach recently departed Orlando Pirates, where he served as assistant coach and was part of a technical team.
His return comes after Golden Arrows endured a difficult start to their league campaign, recording just one victory in their opening eight Betway Premiership matches.
Ncikazi now faces the challenge of restoring consistency and guiding the KwaZulu-Natal side towards improved results across domestic competitions.
Golden Arrows will be hoping his experience and previous success at the club can help turn their season around as he begins his second spell in charge.
