CAPE TOWN – Stellenbosch FC have strengthened their squad ahead of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season after completing the permanent signing of versatile defender Thabiso Lebitso from Orlando Pirates.
The Cape Winelands outfit confirmed the long-term acquisition of Lebitso, who arrives with a wealth of experience after spending the past two seasons with the Buccaneers.
During his time at Pirates, the defender played his part in the club’s successful spell, helping them lift the Betway Premiership title, the Carling Knockout, and two consecutive MTN8 trophies.
The move marks another significant addition for Stellenbosch as they continue to build a competitive squad for the upcoming campaign.
