Cape Town – The Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon is confirmed to take place on the weekend of 11–12 April with the iconic race strapping on a fresh pair of shoes with Stillwater Sports appointed as official Staging and Commercial Partner.
For nearly half a century, the Two Oceans has been both a test of endurance and a postcard from Cape Town. Its future, however, now lies in the hands of a team that knows how to turn a run into a spectacle.
Stillwater Sports, architects of some of South Africa’s most prestigious mass-participation events, have been handed the baton to not only stage the race but also amplify its commercial reach.
“The Two Oceans Marathon has a proud history, and this partnership marks a significant step forward in ensuring its future as a world-class event,” said Chris Goldschmidt, Chairperson of the Board of the Two Oceans Marathon NPC.
“We are confident that with Stillwater Sports’ proven expertise, alongside the continued support of Totalsports, the 2026 edition will set new benchmarks for excellence and inclusivity.”

That’s no small ambition. For organisers, it’s an ultra of logistics with miles of planning, hydration, road closures, safety protocols, and the pressure of expectation from thousands of athletes across the globe.
