CAPE TOWN – Kaizer Chiefs have strengthened their squad ahead of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season with the signing of highly rated young winger Langelihle Phili from Stellenbosch FC.
The 21-year-old winger joins Amakhosi after an outstanding 2025/26 campaign with the Cape Winelands side, where he finished as the club’s leading scorer with nine goals and capped off a stellar season by winning both the club’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season awards.
Phili joined Stellies in 2024 and went on to make 72 appearances, scoring 11 goals and providing two assists.
During his time in the Cape Winelands, he helped the club reach back-to-back MTN8 finals and compete in consecutive CAF Confederation Cup campaigns.
