CAPE TOWN – Stellenbosch FC will be on the road this weekend as they head to the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday, 23 November, where they will open their 2025–26 CAF Confederation Cup Group C campaign against Congolese outfit AS Otohô.
This marks the club’s first step in what promises to be an exciting continental journey, and the team will be looking to set the tone with a strong performance away from home.
The fixture has been relocated from the Western Cape due to the unavailability of the DHL Stadium in Cape Town.
In addition, the club’s traditional home ground, the Danie Craven Stadium, along with the nearby Athlone Stadium, are also unavailable as they do not currently meet the required CAF standards for hosting matches of this level.
As a result, Polokwane will serve as Stellenbosch FC’s temporary home for this crucial group-stage encounter.
