CAPE TOWN – Durban City announced on Wednesday the appointment of former SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt as their new head coach.
Hunt joins the Durban based outfit after he was sacked by SuperSport United back in March.
The 60-year-old will be looking to draw on his vast experience to guide the newly promoted side to a strong showing in the upcoming Betway Premiership season.
“We are thrilled to welcome Gavin to Durban City. His record speaks for itself, and we believe he is the right person to lead our team into this exciting new era,” said club chairman Farook Kadodia.
“His professionalism, football knowledge and winning mentality are exactly what the Club needs as we strive to compete at the highest level.”
