CAPE TOWN – Kaizer Chiefs have announced they have bolstered their squad with two new signings ahead of the 2024/25 Betway Premiership season.
The Glamour Boys revealed Uruguayan attacker Gaston Sirino and defender Bongani Sam joined the Naturena based club.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns maestro signed a two-year contract with Amakhosi.
“We have decided to add some experience in our team by bringing in Sirino. We know his quality and we believe he will help us this coming season and looking forward to him sharing his experience with our younger players,” said Sporting Director, Kaizer Motaung Jr on the club’s website.
“Gaston’s ability to unlock a tight defence with his guile and craft will add an extra dimension to the team’s creativity and his attributes fit with our idea of how we want to play.”
The 26-year-old Sam signed a three-year contract, with a 1-year option with the Soweto Giant side.
“We are really excited to have Bongani Sam in our fold, “given his age, which is 26, he has amassed quite a bit of experience having played for several teams in the Premiership since he started his top-flight career seven years ago,” adds Motaung Jr.
“We do wish him well and we know he will fit in as part of the Kaizer Chiefs Family.”
