Saint Denis, Paris – The Paris 2024 Games officially bursts into life on Saturday following Friday night’s spectacular opening ceremony which was marred by the wet weather conditions.
However, there has been some action in the build-up and one of that was rugby sevens where Team SA’s men are now one win away from a medal.
At the Stade de France later on Saturday, Team SA lost 5-19 to hosts France in a mouth-watering semi-final clash.
They will now face Australia for the bronze medal. In total there are nine sports involving Team SA on Saturday.
Follow all the updates here as the day unfolds. (All the times are local and SA)
