CAPE TOWN – Stellenbosch FC has confirmed the signing of Lehlogonolo Bradley Mojela on a permanent deal from DStv Premiership rivals, TS Galaxy.
The 27-year-old is Stellies third signing of the season ahead of the new 2024/25 campaign.
“I’m very excited to join the Stellenbosch family because the club plays a similar style of football to what I play and am used to. All the team wants to do is attack, score goals and win trophies,” Mojela said.
“My decision to join the club was motivated by the way Stellenbosch played throughout last season, going on a 25-match unbeaten streak which was a lovely thing for the club.
“They beat my former team three times as well so I was also like, ‘Hey, if you can’t beat them, you must join them.”
Mojela is hoping to add silverware to his cabinet now that he has crossed the divide.
“I’m hoping to win more trophies and titles with the team. As we saw last season, Stellenbosch won the Carling Black Label Cup and fell just short in the league and the Nedbank Cup, so maybe this season we can grab two or three trophies,” he said.
“I’m going to bring a lot of energy and look to motivate my teammates, and I hope to score a lot of goals as well.”
