Durban residents are invited to join the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series Team together with sponsors for a rewarding Beach Clean-Up on Saturday, 6 July 2024, from 08:30 to 10:00 at the Suncoast Amphitheatre Area, Promenade, Golden Mile.
This initiative aims to create excitement and foster positive change the day before the 7th annual Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K, which will paint the streets of Durban red.
Commenting on the diverse benefits of the ‘Beach Clean-Up’, Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series, says, “The ‘Beach Clean-Up’ is more than just a fun event bringing together residents, runners, and walkers.
“It acts as a catalyst for community-driven positivity. We invite all residents to come together to enhance Durban’s beauty ahead of the 7th annual Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K.”
A mass participation road race that boasts an impressive elite racing component especially in 2024, the Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K will showcase Durban’s stunning scenery, vibrant atmosphere, and wonderful community.
