CAPE TOWN – Cape Town City coach Eric Tinkler says the team will work on areas that need improvement ahead of their match on Friday.
The Citizens come to this match on the back of their 2-1 loss in the MTN8 quarter final loss at home against Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend.
“Losing to the Chiefs won’t force us to make a rush decision for our next game,” said Tinkler.
“We’ve got a tough game against SuperSport away from home, now we turn our focus purely on that, we need to work on areas that we need to improve on.”
SuperSport played two matches and managed to collect only four points.
Meanwhile, City has won two out of two so far in the campaign and lies in second place on the standings just behind Mamelodi Sundowns.
Tinkler believes the team won’t panic about the clash in the capital.
“We are not going to go into a panic mode and say we need to change this and change that,” he said.
“I’m quite happy with what I have seen so far, the performances from every single one of them.”
The match will kick off at 19:30.
