BIG NEWS! The Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon has announced a revamped 2027 Event Week and a massive capacity increase. Both the Half Marathon and Ultra Marathon will now welcome 21,000 runners each. Entries open from July and August 2026.
The stage is set for one of the strongest 10km road races ever assembled on African soil.
Olympic champion and world record holder Joshua Cheptegei will face a formidable challenge from Kenya’s Felix Masai and Gilbert Kiprotich, Lesotho record holder Kamohelo Mofolo, South Africa’s Kabelo Mulaudzi and Uganda’s Emanuel Kibet at the Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K on 12 July.
With a fast course, elite depth and the possibility of a historic performance, Durban is preparing for a race that could redefine African road running.
