15 000 women pause for GBV victims at Spar10K showdown in Jozi
The SPAR Grand Prix goes down to the wire in Johannesburg on Sunday. Glenrose “Supercharger” Xaba is chasing a historic fourth title, but Cacisile Sosibo starts the final race with a 10-point lead. Before the racing begins, 15,000 women will stand together in silence to honour victims of gender-based violence and femicide.
Gerda Steyn will lead the moment of silence before joining the 10km field.
