Daniels signs new deal with Spurs

CAPE TOWN – Cape Town Spurs is continuing to bolster their squad ahead of the new DStv Premiership season after extending the contract of Clayton Daniels.

The veteran centre-back who played a pivotal role for the Uban Warriors last season – by helping his side to be promoted – has penned a new contract with the Cape-based side.

Shaun Bartlett’s charges are making their return to top-flight football after a five-year absence since Ajax Cape Town’s relegation in 2018.

The 39-year-old Bishop Lavis born started his career at Ikamva back in 2006, where he went on to make over 150 appearances for Ajax.

Daniel’s extension comes a few days after other veteran players Michael Morton and Nazeer Allie extended their stay with Spurs respectively.
